5 Ways to Brighten Up Your Diwali!

Oh, the festival we’ve all been waiting for. And it’s here with a bang! A festival of lights, colours, and smiles; we just cannot have enough of it, can we?

Since Diwali is just around the corner, we figured what all we could do differently to make it extra special this year, and here’s what we came up with!

Here are 5 ways in which you can make this Diwali shine brighter for you!

1. A Quieter & Breathable Place:

Here at Taali, we’re all young at heart, and that’s how we encourage you to be as well. Although one of the exceptions we emphasize upon, is saying no to firecrackers! After a challenging year for everyone, we want to use this time to relax and get our heads right. Safe to say, that would be better achieved in a peaceful, breathable environment.

    2. Watch What You Eat:

Before you attack us, we’re not saying we want you to skip the exclusive Diwali buffet. These are cheat meals we all have earned. Although we must be careful and not overload on too many sweet and oily snacks, as we tend to load up on a lot of food in these 4 days. Hence it’s smarter to always be careful and eat in moderation. And of course, relish every bite of it!

    3. Don’t Let The Diwali Cleanup Go In Vain!:

The week before Diwali when we all thoroughly sweep our houses is one of the busiest weeks of the year. Drawers getting dusted and cupboards being organized, it’s truly the best way to gift your home. Although a new challenge to take upon this year should be to make sure you keep your house just as clean during the rest of the year. Sounds challenging, but trust us, just a little self discipline and you’d be organized in no time!

    4. Virtual Family Reunions:

We could not thank the medical professionals of our country enough, for the work they’ve done to bring the pandemic under control. What we must realize though, is that if we want our ‘old normal’ to come back sooner, we still need to follow the COVID protocols. So put on your favorite ethnic wear and switch on your cameras, we’ve got some long video calls to make!

    5. Give Something Back :

This time during the year is a great time to make some donations! Clothes, utensils, food and financial aids are some of the easiest donations you can make, and you’d be able to find many platforms to do so right now! The happiness one gets from giving something back to the community is truly unmatched. So, ready to give a stranger a Taali this festive season?
